The Health and Beyond Research and Innovation Showcase, held on 17 and 18 September at Campbelltown Catholic Club, brought together a broad cross-section of the health and research community, including clinicians, researchers, academics, allied health professionals, and students from across South Western Sydney. Delivered in collaboration with key partners such as the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research, the showcase continues to serve as an important platform for sharing research that addresses real-world healthcare challenges.
For this year’s event, we worked closely with the University of New South Wales (South Western Sydney Clinical School) to support the delivery of digital research presentations across the venue. Our ePosters software, which has been successfully deployed at numerous academic and professional events, provided a robust and flexible platform for both researchers and students to present their work. The system has continued to evolve over time, with ongoing improvements to its software infrastructure to ensure it can adapt to different event formats, venue layouts, and presentation requirements.
In addition to the central ePoster displays, we also utilised our Advertise Me digital signage solution, advertiseme.tv, to showcase digital posters across multiple booths throughout the event space. This allowed research content to be distributed more widely across the venue, increasing visibility and engagement while creating a cohesive digital experience for attendees as they moved between exhibition areas.
The interactive and digital-first approach enabled presenters to move beyond traditional printed posters, encouraging deeper conversations, real-time discussion, and greater accessibility to research content. Attendees were able to explore a wide range of topics spanning clinical research, public health, innovation, and applied medical science, all presented in a clear and visually engaging format.
Feedback from researchers, students, staff, and visitors was overwhelmingly positive, with many highlighting the ease of use, adaptability, and professional presentation of the digital platforms. We are proud to have supported UNSW and the broader research community at this event and to continue refining our technology based on real-world event experiences.
As our ePoster and digital signage solutions continue to be used across a growing number of showcases and conferences, we remain committed to delivering reliable, flexible, and future-ready platforms that help amplify research impact and foster meaningful collaboration across the healthcare and academic sectors.
